Leo Mkanyia is a Tanzanian singer-songwriter, he is famously known as the King of Swahili Blues, a unique musical style inspired by traditional Tanzania music and the Blues from the US.

He is also one of the few artists who have the pleasure of having his mentor in his band. Having learned the tricks of trade from his dad, today Leo tours the world with his father.  He sings on history and culture, politics, migration, inequality and love.
