Deji Onadeko
I am Deji Onadeko, a film maker with an exceptional storytelling ability. Proof of that is my recently produced short film – GREY AREA, starring myself alongside other exceptional actors like Modola Osifuwa, Ebisan Arayi of Netflix’s Castle andCastle, Temilayo Abodurin and Fadekemi Sulaimon.
Grey Area tellsthe story of a young Nigeria musician, Kolapo, who had risen to fame and fallen from it. However, Kolapo refused to stay down, as he was doing enough to get back into the industry and was making progress. Life was relatively good, save for his manipulative wife who kept their dying marriage going when she revealed that they were about to be parents, but Kolapo was soon going to find out a truth that would change his life forever.
The movie borders on the topic of mental health in a well-told relatable story of pain and betrayal, in a bid to strengthen the efforts of all those advocating for mental health awareness around the world.
